Tub-tastic!

One of the many highlights of our Big Bear trip was going tubing....enough said!  The picture below shows the sheer excitement Teresa expressed the entire time

I have to admit....I really didn't want to do this at first.  So glad I did!!  Amazing time had by all!!

I'm dreaming of a white christmas....

This year was the first year we spent Christmas Day with Jason's family.  So we decided to have a white Christmas and rent a cabin up in Big Bear.  We had a great time with Teresa, Aunty Melinda, and Nick (Mel's boyfriend).  When we first arrived we had to explore the snow...

Then Jason had to do something a little adventurous of course..

Then it was on to the cabin to get some sleep before Santa came.  Aunty Mel and Nick also arrived bright and early Christmas morning..

I'M 19 MONTHS OLD!!!

WEIGHT:  24lbs 6oz

FAVORITE ACTIVITY:  Splashing in the rain.  Singing with Miss Andrea in preschool.  Screaming.  Playing the bongos.  Walking Molly.  Coloring. 

FAVORITE WORDS:  Oh man.  Happy.  Elmo.  Bird.  Oh wow (still).  GG Pie

DISLIKE:  Large crowds.  When all of his friends are over he is usually the one playing in the corner by himself.

MOM'S FAVORITE:  Finishing songs and stories.  When we are reading or singing I will pause and he will say the word that is next. 

DAD'S FAVORITE:  That he calls for Dada every morning.  He gets more interactive each month.  Also loves daily breakfast together

Charlie's party

Yesterday, we all trucked over to Charlie's house for dinner and a kid gift exchange.  It was nice because for once, the kids seemed to actually interact more with each other.  This gave us a little more adult time (until melt-downs started to happen of course).  Brandi and family were quite the hostesses and we had a wonderful time.  Did I mention it was a mere 85 degrees so the kids played outside forever!

Bored

 Last week Julie and I were bored so after letting the boys play in the BMW, we headed to Sea World.  It was so nice because nobody was there!  We basically let the kids play in the Elmo area, saw a few sharks, and then we left.  Perfect, short day.  We did make a stop to hang with Shivers, the bear.
