Happy 2nd Birthday Connor!

On Sunday, our friend Connor had his 2nd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese...which would have been awesome if we didn't show up at the WRONG Chuck E Cheese!  Yes, I am a ding dong and went to the one ON Vista...not IN Vista.  Oh well...Ry and I played a few games and then cruised home.

I can't believe we are starting to go to 2nd birthday parties!!!  Seems like yesterday they all turned ONE!

I'M 20 MONTHS OLD!!!

 WEIGHT:  24lbs 4oz
FAVORITE ACTIVITY:  Eating popsicles, playing with his cars up and down the slide, walking Molly
FAVORITE WORDS:  He will pretty much repeat whatever you say.  Loves saying applesauce, heart, money, Woody, Queen (for Lightning McQueen), Ham (for Green eggs and Ham), Spider (Itsy Bitsy Spider), stars, moon, Aunty, Nick
DISLIKE:  Getting his haircut.  Poor Aunty Melinda has her work cut out for her.  Obviously dislikes taking these monthly pics if you can't tell by the horrible 20 month picture
MOM'S FAV:  I love playing the flash card game.  We lay out all his letter flash cards.  He will pick one up and tell you what letter it is.  And then he will tell you (in his own language) what animal is on the back.  Yes he knows all his letters, basic colors, and animals.  We are working on shapes next.
DAD'S FAV:  Singing the ABC's.  And every night when Daddy comes home from work he takes Ry to the park down the street for some Ryden/Daddy time

Daddy Daycare

On Wednesday, all the girls sent the Daddy's to preschool.  When I got the full report, it sounded like they all had a BLAST.  Looks like I might have a Mr. Mom on my hands.  Better start sending out my resume.

Not down with the sickness

We were suppose to go hear the baby's heartbeat yesterday but I was SOOO sick!  Ryden had the stomach flu last week and he must've passed it on to me.  I couldn't eat, drink, or move yesterday.  Jason was amazing.  He stayed home from work, took Ryden to mommy/me preschool, and made sure I was ok.  I rescheduled my Dr appt for next week so hopefully I will have an ultrasound picture to show.  Sorry for the boring post....just wanted to update everyone

It's offical.....

Ryden is going to be a big brother.  This pregnancy had been a LOT different!  I am nauseous all day and extremely tired!  Poor Jason had been wonderful the past few weeks (well he is wonderful all the time..but extra wonderful).  He has been getting up with Ry in the mornings and playing with him the second he gets home from work so I can rest.  I'm hoping this "morning" sickness goes away soon!  My first Dr. appt is next Wednesday.  Can't wait to hear the heartbeat..then it will hit me.

Disneyland for the MILLIONTH time

Jason renewed my Disneyland annual pass for my birthday, so of course I made him take me right away.  It was a rather cold and dreary day but the lines weren't horrible and we still had fun.  Ryden mostly like the huge water ball thing and chasing birds
Onward to the rides...Buzz Lightyear with Gma
LOVED the carousel...
The Ferris Wheel...yikes!
Small World...coolest thing was it was still decked out for Christmas...
And....Casey's train ride...the most I could get from Ryden was a smirk..

It was a great day but by 4:30 I was cold and tired!  What??  Me tired of Dland?

Ryden the Ar-teest

Ryden got an art easel for Christmas and instantly started drawing.  When I asked him what he drew he clearly said "heart"...awesome

New Year's day at the zoo

Once again, I am a little late on blogging.  We braved our hangovers (insert laugh here) and went to the SD zoo on New Year's Day.  I think everyone else was hungover because it wasn't that crowded.  Teresa and Melinda came with us and when T comes...she makes sure we see the WHOLE park.  We covered everything!  It was a blast

Ryden wanted to walk most of the time...but only holding Grandma's hand!
He loved the sky lift things!
and of course the "elephants" and "seals"

Happy New Year

This year we partied hard at Legoland with all the kids.  There were even fireworks and the dropping of a ball (which we missed).  Festivities ended at 6pm so we celebrated the New Years early and then went home.  It was perfect yet cold!
Moses and Ry with Daddys and playing with Lego's
The only ride we attempted was the mini train.  Of course, all the moms let the dad's take this one.
The slide was pretty fun too
3....2....1....HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
