Weekend fun

Jason MacMaster does not like to sit still.  That is why we usually have several activities planned each weekend.  We decided to do an impromptu bike ride to take up some time on Saturday.  We called upon the Schroeder's who were happy to join.  Bike gang!
We rode all the way from our house down to the Redondo Pier.  About a 10 mile bike ride round trip.  Trevin did amazing for how much he normally complains about everything.
We hung out at the Redondo Pier for awhile to give the boy's legs a rest and to check out the smelly fish and the equally smelly arcade.  Also had some time for a few quick photo shoot.
Creepy Ryden.....just creepy
Guess the theme was "scary/zombie faces"
We had to hit up the Tilt-A-Hurl (and by 'we' I mean 'not me').  Good thing we did this before lunch.  I think the boys rode it about three times in a row.
On to a few arcade games for the little kids....
....and a big kid too.
Time for lunch!
After lunch, we promised ice cream....so we delivered.
And then the boys decided to do a few jumps off the side and onto the beach below.
Now...we ride!  All the way back to Manhattan Beach.  So much fun!  Love that the boys are finally old enough to do this awesome activity.
Sunday morning we woke up bright and early to do the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk.  Molly even got to come this time.  Olivia was in hog heaven and walked her the whole time.
And Jason ended up carrying Trevin for half the time.
If you could only hear the conversations these two have....
Sunday night, we headed to the South Bay Laker's game.  It was super fun and the boys loved it....although we were watching the Dodger game on a laptop at the same time :)
Exhausting but super fun weekend!

Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch

So it's been a whole year since I've blogged.  That whole year I kept telling myself I really need to start up again.  I'm going to try to stick to it this time!
It was time to head out to our annual tradition of pumpkin patching with the Smith girls.  I brought my good camera and made the kids pose for every photo opp I could.

Ryden loved this slide last year and talked about it the whole ride up.
The boys didn't want to ride the ponies at first, but the girls talked them into it.  They had a good time even if they won't admit it.
It's really cute how they all divide off.  Bigs and littles.  They were running all around the pumpkin patch... Trev/Tessa and Ry/Liv.
These two kill me....they are so sweet when they haven't hung out with each other in a long time.  The conversations that they have are amazing!
And these two are too mature for me..not sure when they became teenagers.
All Trevin wanted to do the whole time was pick pumpkins.  So after all the bounce housing and horse riding...it was finally time.  He had the hardest time choosing which perfect pumpkin he wanted.  He kept changing his mind.
We headed back to Angie's house to decorate pumpkins.  We decided painting would be less stressful than carving with four kids.
Ryden and Olivia sat outside, decorating pumpkins, and talking about the script Liv wrote.  Yes, she even has a duet song for them to sing.  Ryden gave her a few pointers on parts to switch and they were happy and content the whole night.
And then there are these two.......
We ended the night with a spooky movie outside.....Casper the Friendly Ghost.
Thanks for always going on adventures with us Smith girls!
