Today we went and hung out with our good friends J and Sandy.  They just moved into a new house so we had to go take the tour and let the kids play.  Such an awesome new place and Ryden had a blast playing with all of Gabe and Jacob's toys.  We are just sorry we didn't get to stay long because cranky pants needed to take his second nap (which he never ended up doing by the way).

Swim lessons

First day of swim lessons were a success!  Although, last night Ryden woke up in the middle of the night with a slight cough we still took him to the pool.  He was in good spirits and did such a great job!  Blowing bubbles...dunking under water...and lots of kicking.  And the best part was Daddy got to go in the water with the boy.  So much fun!  We get to go back next week...woo hoo!

We took the kids to the open gym today.  It is so nice now that they are walkers because we can just set them free and go crazy.  They can bounce, jump, somersalt, and climb to their hearts content.  And who doesn't wanna swim in a sea of foam blocks?

Preschool!

Our first week of preschool was pretty rough (due to Ryden's fever), but our second week was much better.  Ryden actually participated a little during song time and didn't fuss at all during outside play time.  And with his girlfriend Ayla there and BFF's Moses and Oliver....it makes it even better!

Lights, Camera, ACTION!

Tina, my Stroller Strides instructor, was approached by the producers of the show "The Doctors" to have her and a couple of her mommy friends come out for a taping.  The segment is called "motherhood survival".  I was one of the lucky  four moms chosen to go to Hollywood and be filmed.  We set out and had a celebratory drink before hand (and also celebrated fellow mom Stacey's birthday).

When we arrived, we were ushered to a living room set where we were giving a few mommy related topics that we discussed with each other.  There was only one girl filming so it was really like we were all sitting in the comfort of our home talking with our best friends.  And boy did we talk and talk and talk.  This poor girl filming had to take breaks from holding this heavy camera.

  It was such a fun experience and I was glad I got to participate with such other wonderful mommies...

I am not sure of all the details....when we will be on the show?  If we will be on the show?  But I am sure if we are on it will only be for a few seconds.  My 15 minutes of fame shouldn't last too long.  So DVR the show if you are interested in seeing some super awesome moms :)  And look for the segment titled "Motherhood Survival"  If I get more information I will let everyone know.
