Another year, another strawberry field adventure

Ryden's preschool class took a trip to the strawberry fields and they got to pick their own strawberries.  And once again, Ryden pretty much ate his way through the fields.  Totally felt like a shop lifter

He did better this year with not squishing the guts out of the strawberries when attempting to pick them.  He learned to pull from the green part

Yummmmmmm (don't even want to think about how dirty those strawberries are but hey...we used to drink out of the garden hose and we seem to be ok right??)

After hiding out all week trying to get over being sick, we finally venture into the land of the living and hung out with our friends again.  We headed to the flower fields.  In my almost ten years of living here I have never been.  It was soooo pretty and the kids had a blast!  My good camera was out of juice so I took all these pics on my phone.  Well played iphone...well played.  Yay for flower fields

Ryden's friend Aurora just loves him.  If he wasn't by her side she was always yelling "Where's Ryden?????"  So cute since they've known each other almost their whole lives

Tucson visit part 1

While Jason was gone to China, I spent a few weeks with the fam in AZ.  I brought along a sick baby and that sick baby proceeded to infect his brother.  I bring so much fun with me.

We arrived in good spirits (sheesh...maybe I should put some make-up on!)

We all watched while Ryden read his "ABC'S of Rock" book word for word

Ryden danced like a white boy

We nursed the poor sick (but very happy) baby

We played with phones from the old'in days and dug holes

We stood in front of cactus trying to make grumpy pants happy

We visited Dr. Dale's office....Hi Aunt Chris

And was entertained by Wynette and a 'toby' dog

Mastered the art of peek-a-boo

Lots of walks before the weather hit 100 degrees!

Did some 'real bowling'

And Mama got to hang out with the girls

Since I was there for two weeks I will have a few more pictures to share....

Beach bums

Finally some awesome weather in Cali so we hit the beach.  Ryden loved playing in the sand
