I'M 7 MONTHS OLD!!

WEIGHT:  17.2 lbs
FAVORITE TOY: Loves his brother's Brobee stuffed toy.  Although Ryden usually won't let him have it for very long.  Anything that's not a toy....juice boxes, keys, remote control, cell phone, shoes
FAVORITE ACTIVITY:  Standing up.  Knocking blocks over after Mama stacks them up
MILESTONE:  Got his two bottom teeth.  Standing on his own while holding on to something.  Says mama.  Eating Mum-Mums.
DISLIKES:  Vegetables and wearing beanies for too long. He tries to take them off but usually ends up covering up his eyes.  That's ok...would be a shame to hide that great hair
MAMA'S FAVORITE:  I got about two weeks of sleeping through the night!  Now we are back to waking up once or twice but I let him cry it out and he usually puts himself back to sleep after a few minutes.  But I am not complaining because he is such a chill, fun boy.  He just goes with the flow all day and laughs/smiles all the time.  Every stage is getting better and better
DADDY'S FAVORITE:  Jason loves the way he smiles every time he sees him and his awesome laugh.

I did it!

So I ran my first 10K on St. Patty's Day.  Although it was only 6.2 miles, it felt good to finish it.  Despite the rain and cold wind, I ran the whole thing.  Didn't run it very fast but I have room to improve for my next race.  My stats:
Finished in 1 hour and 3 minutes (which isn't quite right because it took so long to pass the start line since there was a huge cluster of people)  I'm saying it was more like 1 hour...yeah I can say whatever I want.
That is about 10 minute miles....ok I guess
I finished 57th out of 127 people in my age group
At least I beat the guy dressed like gumby, the other guy dressed like the swamp thing, and the lady in the picture above showing her muffin top
Thanks Hun for pushing me to do this!

The Lorax

Our first movie theater experience. Trevin even got to come. Was the huge tub of popcorn necessary? Umm yes!

Chuck E Cheese

We tried to go to Legoland today but due to Spring break the place was packed. So Chuck E Cheese was the winner. Nobody was there. Kids had a blast. Fun

Bowling madness

We took Ryden bowling and had a grand ol' time.  Ry was an expert...picking up the 6 lb ball and rolling it all on his own!  He gave us a run for our money
Waiting for the ball to come back.  Super 'cited' each time it did
Great kicks
Not a good idea.  Nice action shot of my bowling ball
Trev = Not impressed.  He had just had a massive blow-out and mother of the year didn't bring any spare clothes.  Stinky butt!
Big shot

It only took about 45 minutes to roll down to hit the pins.  Reminds me of the days I worked at a preschool and being bored to tears while I waited about a thousand times for a ball moving slower than a snail
Head for the hills

I'M 6 MONTHS OLD!!

WEIGHT:  16.2 LBS
FAVORITE TOY:  A train that spits balls out (sounds amazing) and his Sophie the teething giraffe although he mostly likes to beat it against his jungle mat.
FAVORITE ACTIVITY:  Being in the baby Bjorn.  Anytime he's in that darn thing he squeals and kicks his feet.  At the grocery store he screams for joy and people always turn their heads thinking somethings wrong.  Then they laugh when they realize he's having a grand ol' time
MILESTONES:  Holds his own bottle if he's laying down.  Sits up for a little while and then plummets forward which Ryden thinks is so funny.
MOM'S FAVORITE:  Seeing him around Ryden.  He is just in awe of his big brother!  When Ry acknowledges him you would think Trevin just won the lottery or something
DAD'S FAVORITE:  Watching him become a big boy.  The months seem to fly by so fast this time around so seeing him change every day is amazing

**(We still are not sleeping through the night!  We have a few good nights and then some rough ones.  This too shall pass)

Georgia on my mind

The hit of the weekend?  Miss Georgia!  Always excited over everything!  Scooby-do legs trying to get to someone fast to say hello.  Sitting by Cody's belly the whole weekend.  Waiting by Katie's legs hoping she would drop a morsel of food.  On our 'run', stopping to sniff every bug, walk up every porch stair, and zig zagging the whole way.  Sun bathing in the sun.  Refusing to get in her kennel.  She was a joy!

Seeing the sights

The next day I had to leave so we did a little bit of sight seeing.  It was rather cold and windy but the town was perfect and cute.  Had to take the traditional 'around the table' pictures during lunch
There were not many people around since it was Sunday (everything is closed) and freezing so we had George Washington take our picture.
Cody's camera takes about 50 shots at a time....here are the results:  AWESOME-NESS
