We spent a lot of time with Jason's dad while in Phoenix which was nice.  We swam, ate BBQ,gambled, and played with chickens???

Ry had his first soccer game today. Jason said he pretty much cried the whole time and then just wanted to watch the skateboarders instead. Sweet

Phoenix- Papa and Ahwee

 We decided to take our summer trip to Phoenix....in the middle of July...not so smart.  But lucky for us we pretty much lived by the pool the whole time.  We spent a lot of time with Jason's dad and a few of our Phoenix friends who we never really get to see when we are in Tucson.  But Papa and Ahwee made a pit stop on their way to Prescott to swim with us.

Of course we had to ride the slide several times..

After pool time, we all took Ahwee out to dinner for her birthday.  Of course, Ry had to be the first one to dig into the cake.  This was the first time in a long time that I got to celebrate my mom's bday with her.  It was an awesome day

When the time came for Papa and Ahwee to leave, Ryden started crying.  He didn't want them to go.  Broke my heart but it was so sweet....

It took us a lot longer to hike since Ryden had to pick up every stick and rock and throw each one. But we still had fun

Happy 4th!

This year was the first year my family didn't come to SD for the 4th so we spent it celebrating with our neighbors. So much fun. We met so many new people and Ryden had a blast on the huge jump house. New tradition?

I'M 10 MONTHS OLD!!

WEIGHT:  18.6 lbs

FAVORITE TOY:  His walker that he pushes all around town.  

FAVORITE ACTIVITY:  Moving!  The boy can't sit still.  Needs to be standing, walking, crawling, climbing, etc.. Also loves loves the pool and swimming!

MILESTONES:  We are finally crawling!  YAY!  Stands on his own for a few seconds.  Walks everywhere with a little assistance.  Goes down slides all by self.  He is now getting five new teeth in!!  Four on top and one more on the bottom.  Can pick himself up to any position now.  If he's on his belly he can go to a sitting position...eats pretty much what we are eating but in smaller bites

DISLIKES:  Sleeping in...he has been waking up at 5am!  Doesn't like when he can't do something.  He gets very frustrated.  Doesn't like being neat.  He will literally destroy the playroom in a matter of minutes.  And all his food on his tray is all over the kitchen within seconds of being put in front of him

MOM'S FAVORITE:  Loving that he is mobile now.  When he couldn't crawl he would lay on his stomach and whine!  Now he can do everything on his own.  Makes more work for me since I have to watch him more closely but I love how he is so proud of himself

DAD'S FAVORITE:  Reading stories to him.  His head butt cuddles (?).  Him reaching his hands out for Dada.  Crawling and his swim skills
