Crazy Marcy comes for a visit

One of my bestest friends from Tucson talked me into getting tickets for the Justin Timberlake/Jay Z tour.  And BOY am I glad she did.  She came out a few days before the concert to just hang.  We laughed, talked, drank too many martini's, and danced to Nsync (like the olden days).  I even made her ride a bike to go get dinner one night.  Wish I had that on video!
Since she has three kids of her own, she was the best because she didn't mind when I made her hang with my kids half the day.  The boys loved her!  She even rode the tilt-a-hurl with Ryden....scoring major points with him

Poor Trev...not tall enough
Marcy flipped when she saw this egg machine.  She remembered them from the olden days.  So I gave them each a quarter and guess what the prize was for all three eggs?  A SKATEBOARD KEYCHAIN!  Perfect for my boys (hence Ryden's expression in the bottom picture and Trev trying to jack Marcy's)
.
One more ride before heading home
Then it was time!!!  Justin and Jay Z here we come!!!
Marcy and I were dying from excitement on the ride up!  It was like a blast from the past when we used to go to our Nsync and Britney concerts...
All the girls waiting to get inside
After waiting almost an HOUR just to get inside the gates...we were finally in!
Too bad we waiting almost another two hours before the show even started!  Yeah...a little behind schedule there Mr. JT.  But we entertained ourselves
We had pretty good seats.  Once the concert started we managed to sneak up to the seats right in front of the wall.  We were ALMOST able to jump over the wall and make a mad dash for the floor seats...but we decided against getting in trouble that night.  We aren't youngins' anymore.
I had an absolute BLAST at this concert.  Marcy is by far one of the best person to go to a concert with.  She is so much fun, dances, wants to sneak to the front, doesn't care what people think...I just love her!  We are now planning our next JT concert...not joking..

Jason and Sandy get hitched

Jason used to work with Jason in the Airspeed days.  We got to watch him marry the beautiful Sandy this weekend.  What a fun time we had!  A little too much fun since Teresa was amazing (as usual) and watched the boys overnight for us!
Riding in the stretch limo to the wedding...which was an HOUR behind schedule due to a flat tire.  Poor bride!
Still waiting for the ceremony to start...everyone was happy though.  Could be because they were serving up the drinks...
Me and Cara..

Max and Katie visit

Jason's friend Max (if you came to our wedding you all remember his Best Man speech) and his darling wife Katie came to visit us last weekend.  We went to lunch, strolled along the pier, and roasted our boop-boop's off (that's for PT Patti).  I love these two so much....they are so much fun to be around.  Too bad they live all the way in DC...
Ryden had a blast with Uncle Max
...and three pictures are all we got...once again, FAIL!

Our favorite thing to do

When we go on walks the boys LOVE to jump down any set of stairs they can find. I'm sure all the home owners love when we trespass on their property

Father's Day and the 4th

I'm a little late with the Father's Day post but we had such a chill day.  It was more like Ryden's Day because we went bowling.  Ry's dream!
And then we really just hung out at the beach....it was nice and calm.  Lots of Daddy time for the boys which they always love!
Fourth of July wasn't very crazy for us either (can't say the same for the rest of South Bay..living in a Beach City you get to experience all of the people having a little too much fun).  We started the day out with some popsicles and then headed to the beach since it was a gorgeous day!
Yeah....I didn't do very well on the picture taking!  A few of our friends came over for dinner and after they left, we headed back down to the beach to watch the fireworks.  Tons of memories came flooding back to me.  Watching the fireworks every year on Mission Bay...so I was very happy that we live so close to a beach to continue the beach firework tradition.  It was a tad cold but both the boys lasted all the way until after 9pm when the fireworks finally started...
Jason trying to entertain Trevin while waiting for the show to start
Ryden covered his ears BEFORE the fireworks even started...
Trying to keep warm...
We stayed for maybe 10 minutes of the show and then high tailed it out of there to beat the crowd of people.  Seriously...they were everywhere!  On our walk home we passed by several bands playing, people chanting "USA", and homemade fireworks being set off.  Ahh reminded me of the good ole days...right Cody?
Happy 4th!!
