Mother's Day

Mother's Day weekend was awesome.  We went with a few couples (and their kids) to Palm Desert and hung out by the pool the whole day.  The kids had floaties on the whole time and were loving the water so we had so much chill time.  I barely took any pictures because I was having so much fun in the pool.
Shawn was bombarded by all the little monsters
Olivia, Sofia, and Ryden sharing some snacks
...and Trevin trying to catch some shut eye
These three!  They had so much fun!
The place had an awesome little baby pool that the adults just sat around while the kids splashed and played some dog game
Tessa was having a melt down and the only way she stopped crying was when I was taking selfies....My kinda girl
Trev and Tessa played together for about 30 seconds...then she took his hat and went about her business
After swimming the entire day....the kids were zoned!
....aaannnd OUT!
The next morning, we went to the pool but it was like Gone With the Wind!  So we decided to pack up and head out to breakfast and then the Children's Museum.
Trev took the jelly basket at breakfast and said "Mama picnic!"
And oh the endless fun at the museum!
Most of our time was spent in the grocery store and pizza parlor
Way to take one for the team Jared...nice vest
Trevin spent a lot of time putting these large books in the back of this car.  We had such a good weekend with all our friends and the kiddos.  What a lucky mom I am!

Mother's Day tea

Today, Jason took Trevin to work with him for an hour so I could go with Ryden to his preschool for a Mother's Day tea.  It was so fun hanging out with my boy....and the famous Ava.
Most of the other boys were off together being destructive.  Ryden was quietly sitting by Lilly and Ava...playing magnet-forms (or something like that)
Then they all got together and sang an updated version of You are my Sunshine.  I almost cried.
After the song was over, everyone ran over to their mom's with a present.  Ryden had made a beautiful thumbprint necklace and also wrote down some of my favorite things.  "My mom always says...." is my favorite.  And he got my age exactly right!
When I came to pick him up later in the day, Miss Christina told me he was extra polite and sweet today so he got to be the line leader.  Man!  I love this kid.

FUN FACT:  We were waiting at Ryden's preschool for him to get out.  A little girl walked by wearing those shoes that squeak when you walk in them.  Trev started giggling and looked at me.  "Mama, she tooting!"

FUN FACT:  Every time the boys do something good I always say "Mama is so proud.  Good job!"  So now, every time Trev uses the potty...when he is done he will 1) Do the potty dance 2) Say "goo job.  Mama so poud!"

Spring concert and friends

Ry had a spring concert at his preschool.  It was flippin' adorable, but I couldn't get a good picture to save my life!  He was always blocked by some tall kid or a puppet from the music teacher.  Plus, I was trying to make sure Trevin didn't fall off the table he was standing on...
 Best shot I got...where's Waldo?
 After the show..
Ryden's friend Koa and his sister Nila came over to play after the show.  Nila fits right in with the boys.  And the three had fun while Trevin was passed out.
When Trev finally woke up, he played skateboards rather nicely with his new homegirl Nila.
And then they moved onto bubbles in the backyard.
Nila and Trev got along rather nicely as you can see.....
Whoa doggies...
All kids love the ramps Jason bought...because they are used as slides
 We like our new friends....
