Kitchen update....

End of day 3...Granite is in!  Sorry for the bad pic...taken with my phone.  Will have better pics once it is all done

Yep...that is food ALL in his hair!  He thinks it is funny to pat his head while he has a handful of food.  Hopefully, the spoon idea will catch on soon.  Right now he just launches it across the room instead...sigh

Kitchen update

End of day one.....

New kitchen in the making

Yes....we are finally upgrading our 90's inspired kitchen.  Pa came out to start the project by doing the demo.  He and Jason spent all of Saturday knocking out granite and taking down cabinets.  I must say that the finish product was very nice although I have been without a kitchen for about three days right now.  Who am I kidding....I don't cook! :)

Happy Birthday Torin!

My friend Tiffany's little boy is turning 3!  So, Ryden and I drove to Orange County for some birthday fun.  The birthday boy doesn't quite like his picture taken so I had to do sneak attacks to just get his profile :)  We had a blast.  It was a perfect day and Paul grilled up some hamburgers which Ryden was happy to eat.  Also baked beans and potato salad were consumed by my little man.  I think his favorite part was hitting the pinata though.  He got a few good swings with the help of Paul. 

The birthday boy's sister was also a little shy but she looked so purty!

My first offical Mother's Day

YAY!  My first Mother's Day was perfect!  I spent the whole weekend with friends, family, hubby, and my reason I am a mother.  Jason makes me feel special everyday but this weekend was extra special.  Teresa and Melinda came over on Friday night so we could celebrate together.  Melinda went all out and brought over some beautiful flowers but somehow we got talked into playing Monopoly (a NON-favorite of Melinda and myself).  Of course, Jason ended up winning while Melinda and I were pretty much passed out on the couch of boredom (sorry babes!)

On Saturday, we had a dinner party at our house in honor of all my Mommy friends.  We blew up the new bounce house to test it out before Ry's party.  Aurora= LOVED it...Ayla and Ryden= so/so.. Moses and Oliver= HATED it!

Of course I waited until the last minute to round everyone up for a group photo.  So Billy/Ben and Cara/Aurora had already left.  And it was super melt down central for Moses so it was hard to get a good picture of everyone!

Everyday it is still so hard to believe I am a mother...it has been the best thing that has happened to me!  I have loved every second of it.  Jason and I are truely blessed
And Happy Mother's Day to our wonderful, beautiful mothers...grandmothers...aunts...friends...etc :)

Team Stroller Strides

So I quit the YMCA and joined Stroller Strides thinkin'....a few strolls around the neighborhood can't be that bad right?  Wow...was I wrong...this class kicks my butt and that is a good thing.  I get a great workout and Ry gets to hang with his buds.  Where have you been all my life Stroller Strides?

Pool Day!

We took the kids to the pool yesterday because the weather was soooo nice.  All we were missing were the margarita's in honor of Cinco De Mayo (and I of course am missing a tan!  Hello Casper the ghost!!)

Mr. Oliver!  I want to eat him up he is so cute! 

Ryden was in heaven in the pool.  It was a bit chilly but that was ok with him.  He had a smile on his face the whole time and was kicking and splashing.  My little fishy..Moses on the other hand, not to thrilled!

1st bike ride

6th time

Yes...Ryden got to go to Disneyland for the SIXTH time...yes he is only 11 months old...and yes he is spoiled.  Ok it was more for our entertainment so Melinda and I are the spoiled ones.  Auntie Melinda had a day off and what better way to spend it than at Disney.  So we packed up the kid and went.  It was a perfect day!  A little hot but the crowd was minimal...lines were short...and we had a blast.  We didn't wait longer than 10 minutes for any ride.  Ryden was still super excited about Small World and this time, Melinda got to experience the excitement.

And since Ry is such a big boy he got to walk in line while we were waiting for rides.  He loved hanging on to the poles and did great waiting...

We got stuck on the Peter Pan ride so we decided to fix Ryden's hair

And after that...everytime I tried to take a picture he would shut/roll his eyes
